30th Annual Antiques & Collectibles Auction

Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct their 30th Annual Antiques & Collectibles Auction at the Showplace in Binghamton on Sunday January 29, 2012 at 10:00 am with a preview at 9:00 am. The auction includes furniture, fine art, accessories and toys and dolls. All of the items in this auction are selling without reserve AS IS (No Refunds, No Returns) at a 10% buyers premium.

This will be a long auction with many items, a sampling of which includes:  
Furniture, including a c. 1790 cherry Chippendale highboy, 90H x 19.25D, 5 Queen Anne chairs, c.1760, a Queen Anne youth chair, and a Chinese Chippendale open arm chair.
Fine Art, including oil on canvas by Herman Ottomar Herzog, German-American (1832-1932), Glen at Sunset, sight 13 X 19, Thomas Chambers (attributed), American (1808-1869), a view of the Palisades, 17 X 23, Richard Mayhew, (1924-), Serenade, Eduard Steinbruck, German (1830-1882), Savior with child, 40 X 32, Charles Baker, American (1844-1906), landscape, 29 X 49, and Bret Francois, French (1918-2004), Roof Tops of Nice, 23 X 28. Accessories, including an outstanding Raingo Fres, Louis XIV Clock, 24.5H X 14.5D, a wood and gesso Challis Tabernacle, a 14” Royal Dux stallion, set of 19th century framed playing cards, a Victorian wire dress form, 1887, by Halls, an early primitive wash tub, 80 pieces of apple pattern Franciscan Ware, a display case, by J. Riswig, a 3-section Victorian screen painted with cranes, a papier mache collar box, an Emeralite desk lamp, a horse & jockey by Veswick, and advertising items for Red Goose Shoes, Black Horse Ale, and an International Harvester bear.
Toys and Dolls, including a Chein player piano, a Wolverne organ, a boxed Cragstan Peter Rabbit, a composition Pinocchio bank, over 50 Lionel trains, a Dog Patch band; dolls, including a 28" Heinrich Handwerck, Mold 119-13, a 12" Bye-Lo baby, a 26" Armand Marseille A M 370, a 12.5" metal-headed Minerva, a 9" Gebruder Kuhnlenz, Barbie’s and accessories, and doll furniture and wooden puzzles.

Absentee and phone bids for this auction can be submitted using the convenient bidform. Bidders must be pre-registered. First-time NYS tax exempt buyers must complete and submit NYS Resale Certificate ST-120.
