Large On-Site Estate Auction

Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct an Auction of the Estate of Virginia Bradley on-site at 26 Onondaga Street, Skaneateles, NY 13152-2306 on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 10:00 am with a preview at 9:00 am. The Bradleys were avid collectors active from the late 1930's through the 1950's. Their house is packed: two auctioneers will be selling at the same time throughout the sale. Come prepared to spend the day! Refreshments available; bring your own chair and boxes.

In this auction are FURNITURE, including two elaborately carved mahogany Partner's Desks, one by R.J. Horner & Co. with Northwind faces, large gargoyles and claw feet; ACCESSORIES, including a carved ivory eagle head cane with matching umbrella handle, half-plate and quarter-plate Daguerreotypes, quarter-plate Ambrotypes, and Gutta Percha cases;Large On-Site Estate Auction FABRICS AND LINENS, including two French framed wool embroidered pictures, circa 1830, and Whitework, dated 1817; CLOCKS AND WATCHES, including a mahogany Colonial grandfather clock with 5-tube chime, and a Fusee watch, KW & KS by Wm. Williams, Dublin in clam shell Sterling case; STONEWARE, including three Whites of Utica and two Norton crocks; ORIENTAL RUGS, including ten in poor to good condition; ARTWORK, including an oil on canvas Winter Scene by Frank A. Barney (1862-1954) and an oil painting by Fernando A.
