Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct an On-Site Estate Auction of the contents of 358 Route 17C, Waverly, NY 14892 on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with a preview at 9:00 a.m. We will be selling the home, contents and real estate for the Estate of David Schneider. Large On-Site Estate Auction of Real Estate, Antiques, Farm Equipment

Farm equipment and tools to be sold in separate auction starting at 10:15 a.m by auctioneer Mark Lewis. Military items and a 1988 Buick Century to be sold at 11:45 a.m. Five real estate parcels to be auctioned at 12:00 noon by Connelly Realty, Bob Connelly broker. There will be an Open House to view the real estate only on Saturday, June 2, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

10:00 a.m.  The auction begins with antiques and collectibles, including an oak half and half, a walnut fall front desk, McCoy Dalmatian cookie jar4 ice cream chairs, a 19th century carpenter's chest, a cow weathervane and lightning rod, a Secret Society owl, 1920's Santa suit, over 50 bells, a Waltham Model 645 19-jewel railroad watch, pieced quilts and 2 crazy quilts, 30 Norman Rockwell figures, and a McCoy dalmatian cookie jar; and contemporary, including a Craftmatic bed, swing-rocker, Wurlitzer organ, appliances, refrigerator, washer, dryer, freezer, and household items.

10:15 a.m.  Selling in a separate auction by Auctioneer Mark Lewis are farm tractors and vehicles, including a Ford 1720 4-wheel drive tractor, an 8N Ford tractor, an Allis-Chalmers Model G tractor with cultivator, single plow and potato hiller (selling as one unit), just restored Allis-Chalmers 1959 D-17 tractor, Bobcat 553 skid-steer loader, Ariens garden tractor with snowplow and disk cultivator, 1987 Ford 150 pickup, Bobcat 553 with skid steer loader2 Postal Jeeps, and a McCormick Deereing hit and miss engine for International Harvester, farm equipment including an Allis-Chalmers Model 60 combine, a new New Holland 310 hayliner with chute, rototillers, mowers, spreaders, plows, cultivators, potato digger, weeder, 2 pallets of air-dried maple, scrap metal, and 10 pieces of horse-drawn equipment; and tools, including floor and bench drill presses, a wood lathe, band and table saws, grinders, tool chests, a welder, a large assortment of hand tools, a compressor, parts washers, a cement mixer, acetylene torches, floor jacks, and parts bins and hardware.

11:45 a.m.  1998 Buick Century sedan in very good condition, maroon interior, Buick 1998 Century Sedanwhite exterior with 71K miles, air-conditioning, power windows and locks; military, including Civil War muskets in like new condition, including an unusual Lindsay Model 1863 2-shot, single-barrel musket, a Model 1842 H. Ashton pistol, Civil War badge and photo of an NCO wearing it, GAR buttons, WWII uniform and Nazi swords, WWI binoculars, and Civil War lithographs by Henry C. Eng.

Noon  Connelly Realty, Robert J. Connelly, Broker and Auctioneer will sell as one 5 parcels, including (#1), a former potato farm, of about 15 acres of tillable land with 24 ft frontage on Route 17C; Taxmap of 5 real estate parcels at 358 Route 17C, Waverly, NY 14892(#2) of about 8 acres containing mineable gravel with 309 ft fronting on 17C; (#3) of about 4 acres containing a 9-room, 4-bedroom circa 1970 handicapped accessible ranch house with an office, full bath, laundry room, and garage in a lower basement walkout level; this lot also contains a large (80 X 50 ft) pole barn with greenhouse addition, a 100 X 30 ft pole shed, and an 8 X 12 pump house in poor condition; (#4) of about 40 acres traversed by a creek, with 687 ft fronting on Ellistown Rd and 1200 ft on 17C, gravel removed; and (#5) of about 18 wooded acres with a creek, fronting on South Tallmadge Hill Rd for 1038 ft. May Appraisal Clinic at Hancock Spring Festival

Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct an Antique Road Show Appraisal Clinic on Saturday, May 26, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hancock Spring Festival on the Read Memorial Library lawn in Hancock, NY. Hancock Spring 2007 FestivalView Map Admission to this entertaining and educational event is free; the appraisal fee is $2.00 per item -- 3 items for $5.00 -- with the proceeds going towards the revitalization of the downtown Hancock area.
