Bob & Sallie Connelly Calendar of Events: February 2008

Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct a Baseball & Sports Memorabilia Auction at the Showplace in Binghamton on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 10:00 am with a preview at 9:00 am.

Selling AS IS without reserve, with a 10% Buyer's Premium, are baseball, football and other sports cards, including complete annual sets, autographed photographs, baseballs, bats, posters, programs, ticket stubs, newspaper clippings, and other sports-related items, as well as scrap and autograph books. Many autographs with COA. Included are factory packs from Topps, Fleer, Score, Pinnacle, Upper Deck, Bowman and Pacific. Featured in this auction are a Carlton Fisk Pepsi Cola Card (at right), an autographed copy of Jackie Robinson's book, Baseball Has Done It (with COA), a 14 X 20.75 inch Sporting Record advertisement (4/20/1916) "Will [Charles Albert] Bender Make Good?", over 25,000 sports cards in packs, and framed photos, with autographed cards and COAs of such sports luminaries as Honus Wagner, Satchel Paige, Grover Alexander, and Larry LaJoie.

The Showplace

Located at 33 West State St Ste 10, Binghamton, NY 13901-2461, the Showplace is the venue for many of Bob & Sallie Connelly's events. To get there, take I81 or NY Rte 17 to exit 4S, NY Rte 7S/NY Rte 363W. Turn right at the first light onto Frederick St, then left at the light onto Chenango St, which forks right into West State St. Go one block to the Binghamton Plaza, located left of the Big K Kmart.

Sales Tax

By law, we collect combined New York State and local sales tax of 8% on all items

delivered in New York unless the buyer provides a valid exemption certificate. A copy of NYS Resale Certificate ST-120 is available here (PDF: 13KB). We do not collect tax on items shipped to an out of state buyer by a qualified carrier. Charity auctions may also be exempt.
