Free Appraisal Clinic During July Fest 2008
Binghamton's 46th annual July Fest takes place this year on Friday, July 11, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, July 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Court Street will be closed to traffic between Water and State Streets for the popular arts and music festival, which has moved one block west to accomodate the Ross Building demolition. Visitors will enjoy artists-in-action, arts & crafts booths, fine art exhibits, children's activities, live music, food vendors, the first ever Parlor City 5K Run, the inaugural Pirohi Day, and more. And best of all, our own Bob Connelly will conduct a free Appraisal Clinic for antiques and collectibles on both Friday, July 11 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and on Saturday, July 12 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Appraisal Tent next to Sall-Stearns at 52 Court St. Appraisers familiar with Antiques, the Decorative Arts, Fine Arts, Jewelry, Oriental items, and Residential Contents will be on hand to offer Auction Estimates, i.e. the approximate price range an item might realize if offered at an appropriate auction. Bob will also be available at the Connelly Gallery, 205 State St, Binghamton, on Friday July 11 until 9:00 pm for those who miss the Clinic at July Fest.
