Collectors Auction: 14 September 2006
Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct a Collectors Auction at the Showplace in Binghamton on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 6:00 p.m., with a preview at 5:00 p.m. Most of the items came from the basement of an 84-year old lady who needs a new furnace. Selling without reserve are furniture, including a 1930 secretary; advertising, including tobacco and spice tins, and beer signs; ephemera, including 1939 World's Fair items, and pulp magazines from the 20s and 30s; dolls and accessories, including Marilyn Monroe dolls, and Heritage Mint musical dolls; accessories, including pocket knives, Depression glassware, and cast iron mailboxes; radios, including a 1951 Crosley, and a 1931 model by Autometal Corp of Niagara Falls; clocks and watches, including a Dutch wall clock, and eight pocket watches; fishing equipment, including fly and casting reels, and boxed lures; and military items, including patches and medals.
