Huge Estate Tool Auction
Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct a Tool Auction at the Showplace in Binghamton for the Estate of Andrew Spak, a long time general contractor in the Broome County area, on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 5:00 pm with a preview at 3:00 pm. This is a very big auction with literally thousands of tool and supply items. Please note the early starting time.
Selling without reserve are power tools, including a Grizzly 220 router/shaper, a Dewalt 12" compound miter saw, a Skill 8" drum floor sander, a Milwaukee demolition hammer with bits, a Spencer blower, a Craftsman table planer, a 10" Rower Kraft radial arm saw, several circular saws including a Milwaukee 8.25", a Gil-Bilt band saw with 18" throat, a Pip sand blaster, a Wagner power painter, an auto analyzer, a cement mixer, an air compressor, a sump pump, an Eagle cordless drill, a Porter cable power planer, a Crain electric stapler, Craftsman routers, a Milwaukee screw gun, Remington power nailers and stud drivers,
and a commercial sewing machine; and large quanity of plumbing items, including pipe threaders, a pipe vice, tap and die sets, faucets, fittings, copper and brass fittings, copper pipe and tubing, new Delta faucets, PVC fittings, a 0.75 HP deep well pump, snakes, and a Koehler pedestal sink.
Also in this HUGE auction are large quanity of electrical supplies, including spools and boxes of wire, plastic and metal electrical boxes, switches, receptacles, lights, connectors, conduit and fittings, an oscilloscope, ceiling fans and Nutone light kits, and 400 pounds of copper wire; yard tools, including a lawn roller, electric hedge trimmers, gas weed whackers, electric chainsaws, McCulloch gas chainsaws, a Troy-Bilt cultivator, a reel mower, and a garden cart; and a large quantity of hand tools, including a Surell glue gun, hole saws, a laminate cutter, cutting torch guages, a timing light, a large laser level, Rockwell lathe turning tools, a 10' aluminum brake, electric staplers, masonry tools, clamps, levels, saws, socket and wrench sets, hammers, pry bars, chisels, punches, bits, jacks, and taps and dies.
And that's not all! In this auction, too, are an enormous collection of miscellaneous items, including step and extension ladders, lumber including kiln dried oak, dimension lumber, molding, trim and planks, a Dayton shop vac, caulking, air hose, a portable work bench, Formica, door and cabinet hardware, an oak chest of drawers, kerosene heaters, a beer and wine making kit, 17 boxes of nails for a coil nailer, chemical sprayers, an air conditioner, 1000s of pieces of hardware, including nuts, bolts, screws and fasteners, a drill press stand, an acetylene/oxygen torch set with cart, wheel barrows, air hoses, and a dehumidifier; and two bb guns, a Benjamin Franklin #300 air rifle and a Daisy Powerline 880 air rifle.

Built on a laid stone foundation, the house has hardwood maple floors on both floors, 3 bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor, and an additional bedroom, living room (with fireplace, closet and 2 skylights), dining room, kitchen, laundry room and half bath on the first floor, which has 9' ceilings. Heated with forced hot air from an oil-fired furnace, the house has three porches, one on the second floor, a clapboard exterior, some aluminum screen and storm windows, a well, septic tanks, and 110v and 220v service. Both the house and large barn with attached garage show considerable deferred maintenance. Natural gas leases for the property have not been sold
