Art Walk Exhibit: 40th Anniversary Celebration
As part of Binghamton's First Friday Art Walk -- and in joyous celebration of 40 years in business -- the Connelly Gallery at 205 State St, Binghamton, NY 13901-2711 will hold an exhibit and sale of 19th century paintings,
featuring Carleton Wiggins, Benjamin Champney and C. Harry Allis on Friday, November 3, 2006 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Connellys will be celebrating 40 years in business with music by violinist Micah Banner-Baine, a Binghamton U.
student who plays with many groups, including One Who Stayed, and with a gallery-wide sale featuring 10-30% off all items in stock. The exhibit and sale of 19th century paintings will continue through November 24, weekdays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and at other times by appointment (Telephone: 607-722-9593). Selling without reserve are over 75 dolls, including porcelain heads, Ashton Drake, boy doll with flirty eyes, Madame Alexander, and German and Japanese dolls; doll accessories, including dishes, dollhouse furniture, and clothes; jewelry, including a gold ring with 46 diamonds, ladies diamond ring and matching wedding band, cameos, pendants, gold fashion rings, and a large assortment of costume jewelry (pins, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, beads, etc.); toys, including Felix the Cat, Schoenhut Piano, and tin toys; and vintage clothing and fabrics, including quilts, coverlet, bedspread, 1900s wedding gown, and linens. Selling without reserve are furniture, including a Duncan Phyfe Style mahogany dining room set, an Empire Style oak coffee table, patio furniture, and picnic and kitchen tables; miscellaneous and collectibles, including black powder pistols, a World War II naval uniform, 50 pieces of Blue Willow, 1500 baseball cards, fishing reels, and miscellaneous household items from two Estates; household appliances, including a refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher; musical instruments, including xylophones, chimes, and a Casio keyboard; and jewelry, including men's gold rings set with diamonds. The auction includes 14 Suzuki GZ250 motorcycles (13 black 2004, a blue 2003), all in excellent condition, untitled with less than 2000 miles. These were used in the
