On-Site Estate Auction: Newark Valley, NY

Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct an On-Site Auction of the contents of the Estate of retired school teacher Loretta Mae Avery at 4795 Newark Valley Maine Rd, Newark Valley, NY 13811 on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 6:00 pm with a preview at 5:00 pm . Included in the auction are many souvenirs brought back by Miss Avery from her extensive travels abroad.

Selling without reserve, with a 10% Buyer's Premium, are Depression Glass & China, including American by Fostoria, Block, Sharon, English hobnail, Iris & Herringbone, Royal Red Ruby, Windsor, and many other patterns; furniture, including an oak Texas highboy with mirror, early blanket chest, 1910 oak cabinet, Depression center table, dressers, chairs, a 1950's corner cupboard, and a sofa and matching love seat; accessories & miscellaneous, including a Fenton red opalescent hobnail set with center bowl (see photo) and matching candle holders (not shown), Waterford crystal, trunks, records, paperback and coffee table books, 30 rolls of wallpaper, 30 pounds of costume jewelry, Amana washer, garage door opener (new-in-box), 4 hp weed eater, and a lawn mower. Vehicle selling at 7:00 pm: a 1977 4-door Chevrolet Impala (running).
