On-Site Estate Auction: Port Kent, NY

Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct an On-Site Auction of the contents of the Estate of Jorge R. Ramos-Lorenzi, P.E., MD at 101 Rt. 373, Port Kent, NY 12975 on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 10:00 am with a preview at 9:00 am . This will be a large, long sale with two auctions at once. Food by Stephen T. Brodi, of Plattsburgh, NY, the second auctioneer.

Selling without reserve, with a 10% Buyer's Premium, are antiques, including stereopticon cards, a geiger counter, candlestick telephones, a Victor Talking Machine V V – VI, Atwater Kent and Crosley radios, and many smalls; and contemporary household items, including a Baldwin spinet piano, a mahogany bedroom suite and assorted furniture, a new Sunbeam gas grill, audio and video equipment from Bose, Technics, Denon, Memorex, Sony, Magnavox VCR new in box, Memorex DVD/CD new in box, infrared alarm new in box, a Schwinn 10-speed bicycle, and musical instruments.

Also in this auction are electronics, ham radio, scientific equipment, including a Geier & Bluhm Transit, Meade Magellan and other telescopes, Hallicrafters receivers, 8 Navy aircraft radio receivers, tuners, transmitters, amplifiers, oscilloscopes, oscillators, microscopes, night vision binoculars, 6 portable televisions, radio parts, antenna mast sections, hundreds of component parts, relays, switches, etc.; computer equipment, including 2 PC towers, 2 printers, an external 10X CD rewritable drive new in box, and a DVD Express new in box; cameras & photographic equipment, including a Soligor 66, Exa Thagee-Dresden, Minolta GX-4, and Rolleiflex cameras, lenses, a 12 X 7 thermostatic print dryer new in box, and other darkroom equipment; and WWII military, including an A1000 rocket launcher, bayonets and daggers, helmets, German belt buckles, medals, and flag, hand grenades (dead), over 20 aircraft instruments, M4 sights, and a Navy survival radio.
