Art Walk Exhibit and Sale: Michael Smith Photography

As part of Binghamton's First Friday Art Walk, and in conjunction with Binghamton University's Alumni and Homecoming Weekend the Connelly Gallery at 205 State St, Binghamton, NY 13901-2711 will hold a second exhibit and sale of photographs by F. Michael Smith on Friday, October 5, 2007 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The first exhibit in March 2006 was a great success. Opening night visitors will be treated to pop and popcorn, and Binghamton University students, faculty and staff will receive a gallery-wide 10% discount. The exhibit and sale of F. Michael Smith's photographs will continue through October 26, weekdays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and at other times by appointment (Telephone: 607-722-9593).

F. Michael Smith's lifelong interest in landscape photography was inspired by the Adirondack vistas he enjoyed at his family's summer cottage near Utica. Some of his current images capture local landscapes and seascapes -- Michael is now a Binghamton resident -- and scenes from his travels, such as Perkins Cove, Maine seen at right.
