Large Clock, Watch, Tool And Scientific Instrument Auction

Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct a Large Clock, Watch, Tool And Scientific Instrument Auction at the Showplace in Binghamton on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 11:00 am with previews on Saturday, April 18 from 6:00–9:00 pm, and on Sunday, April 19 from 9:00–11:00 am. The auction includes over 100 clocks, over 200 pocket watches and wristwatches, watch maker's tools, and scientific instruments.

Selling without reserve AS IS (No Refunds, No Returns) at a 13% buyers premium are CLOCKS, including a BD Bingham astronomical tall case clock, several master clocks and slaves, time clocks, tower clocks, Tiffany and other mantel clocks, wall clocks, a calculagraph, and wooden works clocks; POCKET WATCHES AND WRISTWATCHES, including a 1 minute 18K repeater, Howard, Hamilton and railroad watches, Patek Philippe, many 21 jewel watches, gold hunting cases, wristwatches from Omega, Rolex, chronographs and triple date wristwatches; TOOLS, including rounding-up tool, pivot lathe, depthing tool, watch lathe, and miscellaneous lots from two watch makers, including staffs, hands, crystals, weights, assorted faces, movements, staking set, roller jewels, crowns, main springs, manuals, and two circa 1960 salesman's watch band samples; and SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT, including a sextant, surveyor's transit, compasses, drum and disk recorders, analytic scales, and a WWII Japanese gyroscope.
