Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct a 1948 Nash, Car Parts And Steins Auction at the Showplace in Binghamton on Sunday November 22, 2015 at 10:00 am, with a preview at 9:00 am.
The auction features an award winning 1948 Nash sedan, and a variety of Nash "New Old Stock" (NOS) and memorabilia. Other items include vintage automotive tools, supplies, accessories, and parts. Also automotive equipment. Many items are NIB or never used. And bicycles and mopeds. Selling after the automotive items are over 150 vintage beer steins. All items are sold As Is, No Refunds, No Returns, with a 13% buyer’s premium and a 3% discount for payment in cash or by check.

Selling at 10:15 am is a 1948 Nash Super 600, Model 4840 with 44,125 original miles, K-231951. The Nash Car Club of America gave this car its "Best All Around Original Vehicle" award for 1988. In original condition, it has never been restored and comes with the original owner's manual.
Also in this auction are parts and memorabilia for Nash, including 2 transmissions, starters, a generator, a Carter carburetor in original box, fuel pumps, 6 clocks, vertical bumper bars, a hood emblem, advertising thermometers, a Nash emblem, etc.
Other automotive-related items include 5 rear view mirrors with clocks, Borg Warner 4-speed transmission parts, 3 early Chevy 3-speed transmissions, oil cans (many full), horns, old and new spark plugs, a double sided Canned Oil sign, dated Feb. 1948, 10.75" x 17.5", over 35 license plates, pre-1940, including 1909-1915 enamel NJ plates, Nash dealer signs and banners, many miscellaneous Nash parts, a Firestone tire display stand with tire, and Peugeot manuals and parts including aluminum wheels -- 2 still in original boxes.
Automotive shop equipment in the auction include a Coats 40-40A tire changer, a Model 7200 Branick strut spring compressor, a hydraulic engine hoist, an engine stand, jacks, a 125,000 BTU Salamander, etc.
The auction includes mopeds and bicycles, including an Astra folding bicycle and a 1971 Puch Maxi moped. Made by the Puch subsidiary of Steyr-Daimler Puch, it can be pedaled when the motor is disengaged.
Selling after the car items are over 150 vintage beer steins including 40 Mettlach: 1107, 2327, 1135, 1188, 1947, 2693, 1786, 2003, 2903, 1300, 2011, 2077, 1526, etc. Other steins include military, figural, character, glass, pewter. All steins sold by order of sale.
