Summer Antique Auction

Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct a Summer Antique Auction at the Showplace in Binghamton [view map] on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 6:00 pm with a preview at 5:00 pm. All of the items in this auction are selling without reserve AS IS (No Refunds, No Returns) at a 10% buyers premium.

The auction includes antiques, the contents of a 19th century barber shop from Montour Falls, NY, china, porcelain, and glassware, toys, banks, and dolls, silver, watches, accessories, paintings and prints, and four vintage cars.

Highlights include an unusual Tiffany Studios library lamp with #481 base; a 10-tune Mermod Freres cylinder music box; an American Burl trencher, dated 1814; a striking Philadelphia mahogany corner cupboard with flame finials; a solid oak double back bar, 8'7" x 10'3" x 15.5" deep with beveled glass mirrors and white marble top (from the barber shop); a U.S. and Spain cast iron mechanical bank marked Pat Pending -- guaranteed to be vintage; a yellow and black Arcade toy Yellow Cab, with different phone numbers on each side; three German Armand Marseille dolls; an 800 German silver center piece, 6" x 11" long, 21.145 troy ounce with gold wash adornments; a 23-jewel Veritas pocket watch; an Edison Victrola with morning glory horn, support arm and spare reproducer; and a 2-gallon Whites of Binghamton stoneware jug.
